Henna Body Art
Henna Body Art has been used for centuries in both India and the Middle East as a form of temporary body adornment but it is also known for its medicinal and cooling properties. It is a natural sun block. Henna stains go from variations of orange to dark brown/burgundy in colour (never black).
Black henna is potentially dangerous as it would have PPD in it. Always ask the artist what is in their paste and if they are reputable they should be able to list the ingredients in it where it came from and some history of the source.
Henna Body Art can last up to 2 weeks or more depending on body location, washing frequency, and the use of certain medications.
